Our 5 year plan
Where we're heading
A clear, ambitious plan to grow from clubs and groups into a dedicated youth centre for Scotland's young people.
The vision
Our vision is simple: a safe space where children and teenagers can come together, make friends, and learn to look after their mental health.
We want to help young people understand that it's OK to struggle, break down the stigma around mental health, and make sure real support is always within reach.
The roadmap
- 1
Year 1
Research the group formats that work best, launch our Music & Dance programming for ages 5–17, and get fundraising underway.
- 2
Year 2
Grow and sustain our groups, host charitable events, quizzes, races and auctions, team up with schools on fundraising, put on an end-of-year performance, and pursue grant funding.
- 3
Years 3–4
Measure how well our groups are working, move towards a youth-club model, and add new activities, football, art, themed events and outings. Open a tuck shop and fund our first staff roles.
- 4
Year 5
Review our finances against our goals, open a dedicated Youth Centre, and deliver mental health education and coping-skills training.
"If I can make a difference in one child or teenager's life with this project, I'll know I've done something good."
